Obituary For Pamela Joyce Pearson

August 13, 1948 - September 5, 2026

With broken hearts we mournfully announce the passing of Pamela Joyce Pearson, who passed away September 5, 2026, at the Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Pam was born August 13, 1948, to Arthur and Iris Walker, in Clitheroe, England. She was born the third of four daughters and grew up in Clitheroe where she became the Castle Fete Queen in 1966.

On March 27, 1971, she married Richard Peason, the love of her life and eternal companion, together they started a young family with their daughters Michelle and Amanda.

She followed Richard to Grande Prairie, Alberta in March 1975. It was here that they raised their girls, quickly becoming a part of the community. Pam was a Baker by trade and loved to cook for friends and loved ones at any opportunity. She worked several jobs, in Grande Prairie was the proud owner / operator of the Country Kitchen in the Town Center Mall for several years.

Pam will be deeply missed by everyone especially her daughters Michelle and Amanda (Brett) and her loving grandchildren: Emmit (Alyshia), Payton (Allie), Paige and Rylan. Pam was blessed with four Great Grandchildren as well and they were all lucky to meet her: Noah, Lyla, Halen, and Jack.

Her family in England mourns her loss as well: sisters Lynne Simpson and Jean (Michael) Ralph, brother-in-law Trevor Norman, sister-in-law Christine Walker and many nieces and nephews.

Pam was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Richard Pearson, parents Arthur and Iris Walker, sister Jackie Norman, and nephews Craig Norman and Gary Ralph.

At Pam’s request there will not be a service.

The family would like to express our gratitude to all of the staff at the Prairie Lake Hospice for their exceptional care of our mother in her last days.

Love you, Mom! Until we meet again!
