Doreen “Shirley” Dynes-Reid (nee Dynes) (formerly McLaren) (formerly Ricci)

December 5, 1935 – June 20, 2026

After a long illness, Shirley passed away peacefully under the care of a dear friend. As an avid animal lover who cared for many over the years; from dogs, cats, birds and gerbils, in the end, she often reminisced over her love of horses.

Shirley was known to many as a “camp cook” and she loved what she did. Deeply caring and endlessly creative, she leaves behind her children Pamela Ricci, Fred Ricci, and Debbie Willshire.

Shirley is predeceased by her children Tony, Paul, and Karen, as well as her late husband Milford Reid. In her final days, Shirley was very much looking forward to being reunited with her loved ones, with whom she is now at peace.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no service held.
