April 11, 1944 – May 12, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Marlyn Hofferd. After battling a lengthy illness, she passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born on April 11, 1944, in Dawson Creek, BC. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind heart, caring nature, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

In 1960, Donna married the love of her life, Albert Hofferd. Together they shared almost 65 years of marriage and built a life centered on family, friendships and devotion.

Donna dedicated approximately 30 years of service with the Government of Canada before retiring. She lived a life filled with friendships, laughter and time spent with those she loved. Whether playing cards, attending bingo, camping, fishing or enjoying time by the ocean, Donna’s greatest happiness came from sharing those moments with family and friends.

More than anything, Donna lover her family. She was a loving, understanding and kind woman with a generous heart. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grand-children, great-grandchildren and took immense pride in watching her family grow through the generations.

Donna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Hofferd, daughter, Debbie Keller and sister Zelma.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sandi Wilkin (Lawrence Stefan), Kim Nadeau (Rob Mutz), 11 grandchildren , 14 great grandchildren and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2026 at the residence of Sandi Wilkin in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Donna’s kindness, strength and love for her family will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
