Obituary For Crystal Takach

January 19, 1986 – June 8, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Crystal Takach on June 8, 2026, at the young age of 40.

Crystal came into this world fighting, born prematurely on January 19, 1986. She grew up in Lacorey, Alberta, and graduated from Bonnyville Centralized High School. Crystal went on to pursue her passion for hairstyling at Marvel College in Edmonton.

After graduating, Crystal moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta, where she developed and honoured her talents as a stylist. She began her career from the ground up and, through hard work, determination, and natural ability, worked her way into management.

Grande Prairie is also where Crystal had her children and later met her soulmate, Terry Takach. Crystal had an infectious personality and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was hardworking, determined, and never afraid to try something new. Later in life, Crystal changed careers and moved into the oilfield, where she excelled in various roles and often gave the men a run for their money.

Crystal enjoyed travelling and riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Terry. Together, they shared many beautiful memories and dreamed of many more, but their time together was far too short.

Crystal will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Terry Takach; her children, Hailey Campbell and Keagan Campbell; her mother, Robin Irwin; her sister, Aliccia, brother-in-law Dave, and nieces and nephews Madison, Kaydence, Grady, and Ryker; her sister, Katelyn, brother-in-law Tom, and nieces Josie and Harlyn; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Crystal was predeceased by her grandparents, Alfred and Josephine Toker.

    Crystal had a larger than life personality.S he was always very kind to me and we shared great laughs together, I always knew my belly would be full of delicious food after spending time with her and Terry !
