In Loving Memory of Corrinne Georgina Christopherson

July 23, 1940 – August 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Corrinne Georgina Christopherson on August 14, 2026, at the age of 86 years.

Corrinne passed away peacefully at the hospital with family by her side. She was the 3rd child of George and Ethel Anderson. Born in 1940 on their family farm near Beaverlodge, AB.

Corrinne married Wallace Hawkes in October 1958 then widowed in June 1962. She remarried Reuben Christopherson in October 1974 and was widowed again in September 1997.

Left to mourn her are her sons, Clinton (Tammy) and Clayton (Sandy); daughters, Cheryl (Larry) and Connie; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Christopherson and Carol (Wes) Sorenson, and brother-in-law Norman Stefan.

Corrinne was predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel Anderson; her husbands, Wallace Hawkes and Reuben Christopherson; her brother, Jim Anderson; her sister, Linda Stefan; brother-in-law Walter Christopherson; and sister-in-law Joan Anderson.

Corrinne will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her boisterous personality and shenanigans. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at the GPRH, Unit 23.

A Celebration of Corrinne's Life will be held August 22, 2026, at Bear Creek Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Gimle Cemetery to follow.
